i loved the impressive interior design of the rooms, and the hotel’s close proximity to the stunning lee richardson zoo made morning strolls a delight, allowing for both exploration and relaxation in the green spaces nearby.

we really enjoyed our stay at the ascend hotel. our king suite with a whirlpool was spacious and clean. being close to the water park was awesome for our family. the staff was super friendly, making us feel welcome from the start.

We really enjoyed our stay! Our King Suite with a whirlpool was spacious and perfectly suited for our family. Being attached to the indoor water park was a huge hit with the kids, who loved all the slides and activities. Breakfast was another highlight, especially the omelet station, which added a special touch to our mornings. One thing to improve would be ensuring the breakfast food is served warmer.

I had trouble with inconsistent room placements. my kids were stuck on the second floor while I ended up on the third, which made it a hassle to gather together. The thermostat system was quite annoying. needing to call the front desk to adjust the temperature felt overly complicated. The 'jet spa' tub was less than thrilling, barely accommodating more than one person at a time. Add to that a breakfast that lacked variety and the absence of simple conveniences like extra pillows or blankets, which should have been straightforward to get. The noise from other guests disrupted our peace more than once, turning a relaxing stay into an exercise in patience.

The King Suite with Whirlpool provided plenty of space for my family, and the proximity to the water park was a huge plus. The attached water park was amazing, kid was thrilled! The breakfast spread was not your average hotel food, they had steak and eggs, fresh pastries, it was something I never expected!

It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but the experience was worth it.
